Tribute to Zelda | There have been a lot of great game series's in gaming history. The Mario series, Quest, Donkey Kong. But none of them quite compare with Zelda. Zelda has always had some kind of a magic, something that none of the other games have that can make you feel like you're in the game and it truly is your duty to stop an evil king from destroying Hyrule, or to stop a menacing moon from falling to Termina, or to collect a instruments or pieces of the Tri-force. There is something about the Zelda series that is more emotional than other games and something that makes them easier to get into.
The Zelda series is Nintendo's pride and joy. Zelda has been one of Nintendo's greatest money makers. The first Zelda game came out in 1986 and the most recent came out in 2000 and they still sale just as well as they did in the days of 8-bit gaming.
The Zelda series is also hard. All of the games since the first one have been a great challenge. There has never been a game I've played that can keep me just as entertained at it as I can mad at it.
So this page is here to explain what special place the Zelda games will always hold in all of the fans' hearts. It's a shame I can't do more to tribute Zelda. All I can do is talk about how fun it is. Since I was little, I've played Zelda and now I'm a total Zelda fanatic. I play Zelda games more than I do Mario or anything of the sort.
It's amazing how such a simple 8-bit game from 1986 could have evolved into such a widely known and loved series of never ending adventure. You could play through all the Zelda games for hours and hours and never get bored. So that is what I'm dedicating this page to, as well as this entire site. Zelda's ability to be the funnest game in the history of gaming.
